Tai Lee

Tai Lee is one of the Assistant Directors and an Arranger for the Georgia Mass Band. A native of Southwest Atlanta, he is an alumnus of Westlake High School and a proud graduate of Jackson State University. During his time at Jackson State, Tai served as Head Section Leader of the Sonic Boom of the South Sousaphone Section, leading the section for three years, including two years as Head Section Leader.

Tai currently serves as one of the directors for the Atlanta All-Star High School Mass Band and is a band director with Atlanta Public Schools. His professional performance credits include Netflix's A Madea Homecoming, HBO Max's BMF, two national tours with Drumline Live, Drake's It's All a Blur Tour, Kai Cenat's Chicken Mac promotional livestream, and the MLB HBCU Culture Game, along with numerous other high-profile performances.

A proud Georgia Mass Band alumnus, Tai is also affiliated with Red Dawg Order, Incorporated. As an Assistant Director for the Georgia Mass Band, he remains committed to advancing the organization's mission while fostering musical excellence, leadership, and a culture of growth for the next generation of performers.
