Antonio Alexander serves as Co-Founder/Director/Arranger of the Georgia Mass Band, Inc. He attended the illustrious Jackson State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design. During his matriculation at Jackson State, he marched for five years in the well-known "Sonic Boom of the South," where he served as mellophone section leader and student arranger.

Born in Savannah, GA, he later moved to DeKalb County, where he graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School, where he played trumpet in their band. He later went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Jackson State University, where he also marche

Matthew Buggs serves as a Co-Founder/Director/Arranger of the Georgia Mass Band, Inc. A native of Stone Mountain, GA, he started playing trumpet in the 7th grade and continued through and after his matriculation throughout school.

Marcus Cummings serves as a Co-Founder/Director/Arranger of the Georgia Mass Band. He is a Jackson State University alumnus, where he marched for 4 years in the "Sonic Boom of the South" and served as a saxophone section leader.

Jeff Sharpe serves as the percussion instructor for the Georgia Mass Band. An Atlanta native, he graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 2007. He marched for three years in their band and served as percussion section leader for two of those years. He later went on to march at Morris Brown College from 2007–2008.

Shontavia James is the coach/choreographer for the Sophisticated Jewels of the Georgia Mass Band. She was born in Atlanta, Ga., and attended Spencer High School in Columbus, Ga. She graduated from Texas Southern University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
